Certified to offer special medical training

The institute is certified to offer special medical training in the field of microbiology and infectious disease epidemiology (WO 1993), physicians can acquire the qualification for medical specialist in the area of microbiology, virology and infectious disease epidemiology (WO 2004) as well as in the area of hygiene and environmental medicine (WO 2004). Physicians who are aspiring to become a medical specialist and who are interested in participating in research and teaching are welcome to send a comprehensive application including the usual documents to the director of the institute.
